Waiting on Wednesday: Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating.

Today, I am waiting on Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover -- a new book by one of my favorite authors!

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…
I have loved the five books I've read by Colleen Hoover so far and I know this one will be no exception!  I can't wait to read it! Pre-Order here!
What books are you waiting on this Wednesday??

  5. I'm undecided about Colleen's books. I was somewhat overwhelmed with Hopeless, but I'm willing to give her another try. This one sounds interesting so maybe this will be the one that sells me on her work. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Eek, I haven't read anything by Colleen Hoover yet. *hides* But, I have heard so much about her work, so definitely will have to get around to it sometime, I hate not being in on the hype, haha. I really love that cover though, love when titles are done like that. So pretty. Thanks for stopping by mine yesterday! :)

  10. Oooh this sounds so cool. I mostly read cheating stories from the perspective of the girl who steals the friend's guy, not the girl who's guy gets stolen. I like it.

    Thanks for stopping by!

I love this trope, sub-genre, setting: My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend

I Love This Trope, Sub-Genre, Setting is a new feature on my blog in which I discuss a trope, sub-genre or setting that I love and tell you about books that are shining examples of said trope, sub-genre or setting.  Feel free to play along and please let me know about your favorite books in this realm and whether you like this trope, sub-genre and/or setting as much as I do! Today I am spotlighting the trope of:  My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend , which I would define as any book where the heroine either has a crush on or falls for her brother's best friend or her best friend's brother. I have to confess that I love this trope in nearly all of its iterations!  I have a younger brother so I never got to crush on any of his friends but it's fun reading about that and it's equally as fun as reading about falling for your best friend's brother -- instant sisters!  I know there are a ton
